Images you upload

For a split or a text edit, your browser sends the image and your credits key to our gateway (gen.yingtu.ai), which screens it and forwards it to the LaoZhang API and the model (Seedream 5.0 for splits). Reading the text in a design goes from your browser straight to the LaoZhang API. Neither the gateway nor LayerPSD’s own servers store your images or the layers that come back.

Layers, PSD and ZIP files are assembled in your browser. They stay on your device unless you share them.

Prompts pass a content screen, and images made by Google or OpenAI models (used for text edits) are checked by a content-moderation service before they are shown. Splits and text edits go through our gateway at gen.yingtu.ai, which forwards them to the LaoZhang API.

Where an image goes, step by step

1. Your browser sends the image and your credits key to our gateway, gen.yingtu.ai, over HTTPS. The gateway keeps no images or results; it logs only request metadata (time, model, status, IP address) to enforce rate limits and block abuse.

2. The gateway forwards the request to the LaoZhang API, which calls the model (Seedream 5.0 for splits; Nano Banana 2, GPT Image 2 or Seedream for text edits). How long LaoZhang and the model providers keep request data is governed by their own policies (see LaoZhang’s privacy policy); upstream providers may keep logs for abuse monitoring.

3. The layers come back to your browser, where the PSD, ZIP or PNG is built. LayerPSD’s servers never receive the finished files.

So: fine for marketing graphics, AI art, mockups and your own designs. Do not upload confidential client work, unreleased products or material under NDA if third-party processing is not acceptable.

Your credits key

The free-try key, or the key that holds the credits you bought, is saved in your browser’s local storage and sent only with your own requests to the image service. It is tied to your Google account, so signing in on another device brings your credits there.

Google sign-in

Sign-in is used for the one-time free try and for credits. We receive your Google account id, name, email address and profile picture and keep them in a signed session cookie. We use the account id and email to issue your free-try key and to connect purchases to your account. We do not send you marketing email or sell or share this data.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Waffo.com Limited, our merchant of record. You give your payment details, billing country and email to Waffo on its checkout page; LayerPSD never sees your card number. Waffo’s privacy policy (waffo.ai) covers that data.

For each order we keep: an identifier derived from your Google account id, your email, the pack, the amount charged, Waffo’s order id, dates, and any refund. We use these records to add credits, handle refunds and support, and meet accounting and tax obligations, and keep them as long as those obligations require. They are stored in a database on Cloudflare.

Content screening

The wording of a text edit is checked by Waffo’s content-safety service before an image is generated. We keep the verdict, the reason category and the screened wording, together with the account identifier, so that blocked requests and abuse reports can be reviewed. Images are not kept.

Analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used (clicks, scrolls, anonymised session recordings). Text you type, file names and keys are masked. Clarity sets its own cookies; see Microsoft’s privacy statement.
