Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-09-29. LayerPSD is a browser tool: your images are processed by the image service you call with your key, and the files are built on your device.
Images you upload
Your image is sent from your browser to the image service that splits it (the LaoZhang API, running Seedream 5.0) together with your API key. LayerPSD’s own servers do not store your images or the layers that come back.
Layers, PSD and ZIP files are assembled in your browser. They stay on your device unless you share them.
Prompts pass a content screen, and images made by Google or OpenAI models (only used when you retype text with them) are checked by a content-moderation service before they are shown.
Your API key
A key you paste, or the free key we issue, is saved in your browser’s local storage and sent only with your own requests to the image service.
Google sign-in
Sign-in is used only for the one-time free split. We receive your Google account id, name, email address and profile picture, keep them in a signed session cookie, and use the account id and email to issue and find your one free key. We do not send you email or share this data.
Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used (clicks, scrolls, anonymised session recordings). Text you type, file names and keys are masked. Clarity sets its own cookies; see Microsoft’s privacy statement.
