Acceptable use policy

Last updated 2026-10-06. LayerPSD splits images into layers and redraws text inside images with AI models (Seedream 5.0, Nano Banana 2 and GPT Image 2). This policy applies to everything you upload, type or produce with it, and is part of our terms of use.

1. Never allowed

Do not upload, request or produce any of the following:

  1. Pornography and sexual content. Nudity, sexual acts or sexually explicit material of anyone, including drawn, AI-generated or “artistic” versions.
  2. Violence and gore. Graphic violence, mutilation, torture or content that promotes or glorifies harm to people or animals, including self-harm.
  3. Hate speech. Content that attacks, dehumanises or calls for violence against people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease, including hate symbols used to that end.
  4. Child sexual abuse material and child-unsafe content. Any sexualised depiction of a minor, real or fictional, and any content that grooms, exploits or endangers children. We report such material to the relevant authorities.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation. Images that put a real person’s face or likeness into a scene they were not in, fake documents (IDs, passports, bank cards, certificates), or content meant to deceive people into thinking it is genuine or comes from someone it does not.
  6. Copyright and trademark infringement. Uploading or producing images, characters, logos or artwork you do not have the right to use, or removing watermarks and credits from other people’s work.

2. Also not allowed

  • Content that is illegal where you or the people in it live, including fraud, scams and harassment.
  • Political campaign material, and images of political figures or sensitive political topics (these are blocked by our content screen).
  • Using the service to train or test competing models, scraping it, or getting around rate limits, the free-try limit or the content screen.

Only upload images you have the right to use. You remain responsible for what you upload and for how you use the files you export.

3. How content is screened

  • Every model we call runs its provider’s own safety filters, which refuse sexual, violent and other unsafe requests and outputs, as well as images that look like forged documents or copyrighted material. A refused run uses no credits.
  • The words you type for a text edit are checked by a content-safety service before any image is generated. Requests it blocks are not sent to the model.
  • Requests pass through our gateway, which blocks political figures and sensitive political topics in prompts and checks generated images for them before they are shown.
  • We keep the screening verdicts (not your images) so that blocked requests and reports can be reviewed by a person.

4. Reporting

If you see content made with LayerPSD that breaks this policy, or believe your work was used without permission, email hi@layerpsd.com with “Report” in the subject and, if you can, the image and where you found it. A person reads every report, usually within two business days, and we reply with what we did.

5. Enforcement

Depending on how serious and how repeated a violation is, we may refuse the request, suspend or close the Google account’s access to LayerPSD, disable its credits key, and forfeit its remaining credits without refund. Child sexual abuse material and credible threats are reported to the authorities. If you think we made a mistake, write to us and a person will review it.
