Billing questions
What counts as one output?
Every image the model returns: the filled background is one, and each layer is one. A split into background + 4 layers is 5 outputs.
Why do I need a LaoZhang API key?
LayerPSD has no accounts or plans of its own. Splits run on your LaoZhang API key, which bills exactly what the model returns, so you only pay for what you use. The key is stored in your browser only.
What does the free split include?
One split on Seedream 5.0 Flash at 1K, background + 4 layers, with PSD and ZIP export. It needs a verified @gmail.com account, and there is one per Google account.
Does exporting cost anything?
PSD, ZIP and PNG export run in your browser and are free. "PSD with editable text" reads the text with a small vision model, about $0.002 per export.
Is re-splitting a layer charged?
Yes, like any split: the pieces it returns are billed per output. Retyping a text layer is one image on the model you choose.
